The Senate 's Culture, Education and Communication Committee, together with the European Affairs Committee, is organizing this Thursday, March 23 at the Luxembourg Palace a round table devoted to the European challenges of media freedom and protection of journalists.
The exchanges, broadcast live on the institution's website and accessible in replay, will involve Catherine André, vice-president of the Association of European Journalists, Christophe Deloire, president of Reporters Without Borders (RSF), Patrick Eveno, president of the Observatory of the deontology of information (ODI), Cécile Dubois, co-president of the Syndicate of the independent press of information in line (Spiil) and Jean-Pierre de Kerraoul, president of the European Association of the editors and the legal commission of the Alliance of the press of general information (Apig).
