The Assemblée Nationale's fact-finding mission on the future of public broadcasting will hear four producers' unions on Wednesday March 1 : SPI (3 p.m.), ARP (4 p.m.), UPC (5 p.m.) and API (5:45 p.m.), according to its provisional agenda published on the chamber's website.
Only two delegations are specified to date. The SPI will be represented by Sébastien Colin, who joined the union on January 16 as general delegate (Satellifacts, January 12), and Emmanuelle Mauger, Deputy General Delegate. The ARP delegation will be made up of three people: filmmaker Radu Mihaileanu, Vice-President of Civil Society, Lucie Girre, General Delegate, and Joyce Dardanne, Deputy General Delegate.
Created by the office of the Cultural Affairs Committee last fall, the information mission on the future of public broadcasting is chaired by LR deputy Jean-Jacques Gaultier and has Quentin Bataillon (Renaissance) as rapporteur.
