Delphine Ernotte Cunci, President of France Télévisions, and Pap Ndiaye, Minister of National Education and Youth, signed, on Wednesday April 12, an agreement aimed at "strengthening the partnership between the public audiovisual service and the ministry " as well as to “ formalize their commitment to media and information literacy (MIL),” the public group said the same day. In this context, France Télévisions could, for example, take part in days dedicated to the fight against disinformation and media education as part of the academic plan for training teachers, in the territory, through the intervention of its teams and of its journalists.
The signing of this agreement is part of the continuity of the action already carried out by the public group with the Tour de France of media education during which the editorial staff, accompanied by personalities from the world of the media, leave throughout of the year to meet teachers, on the front line in the fight against misinformation, or welcome them "in immersion" in its newsrooms. The ambition today is to amplify the partnership “in the face of the rapid evolution of the uses of young people”.
The next stage of this Tour de France will take place in the academy of Guyana on May 23, 24 and 25 while the editorial staff of franceinfo and Outremer La 1ère will receive the Ile-de-France academies respectively on May 10 and 24 then on June 7 and 21, it is indicated.
