CNews: intervention by Arcom for not having mentioned the activities of a speaker

Arcom (French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication) intervened and warned CNews for not having mentioned the activities of one of the speakers on the air - in this case within the association "Dialogue franco-russe" - during a sequence relating to the war in Ukraine broadcast on the Midi News program presented on February 9 by Sonia Mabrouk, according to a decision of the regulator posted online on May 30. The Authority reminded the channel's publisher of the need to " provide viewers with all the details useful for a good understanding of the quality of the speakers on the air" and this especially "in the context of subjects which are of particularly sensitive”.
